Live Contact Hours
You will need to acquire a minimum of 90 live contact hours (recordings do not count) in order to graduate and join the profession. You can start attending, logging and reflecting on your live events (inside your Live Contact Hours log) as soon as you join the course.

Coaching Hours
HCA recognises the value of coaching hours as an essential past of your training. You are required to log a minimum of 50 live coaching hours to graduate from your course, but we recommend you do more than this if you can.
Coaching Hours include:

Core Mentor Session breakout sessions

TRIPOD sessions (coach, coachee, and observer)

Coach Connect and Support coaching sessions (even as an observer)

Coaching Clinics (as observer or coachee)
-
Coaching breakout sessions within 1-Day Live Events

Coaching breakout sessions within 3-Day In-Person Events

Your coaching session with your volunteer in Pillar 1

Your coaching session with your volunteer for your Live Supervision session in Pillar 3

Coaching sessions with your Pillar 3 volunteer

Coaching sessions with your Pillar 4 Case Studies

Any extra coaching practice you do, receive, or observe that is at least 15 minutes in length.
Only coaching hours which are attended live in real time will count; watching recordings (whilst useful) will not count toward coaching hours.
