What to Expect from Your Welcome Week

We look forward to connecting with you during our Welcome Week!

The week before your course opens, we host a Welcome Webinar and an Orientation Session. During this week, you will also receive an email from us inviting you to join the Academy. Once you follow the prompts you will have access to your Student Dashboard.

Once you have accessed your Student Dashboard, you will have access to the following:

Pillar 1: Introduction and Welcome

Your Pillar 1 course includes your curriculum and assignments

Student Resource Centre

This is the ultimate information hub for all things related to the course

Calendar

This is where you can review and register for upcoming course-wide events and find the details for your weekly CORE Mentor Sessions

Live Event Recordings and Coaching Demos

A library of coaching demos and recordings of previous live events is available for you to watch

CORE Mentor Sessions Community

This is where you will find key discussions and added information that we need to share with you regarding your CORE Mentor Groups

Welcome Webinar:

The Welcome Webinar is approximately one hour long and is a lovely opportunity to meet the co-founders of HCA and receive a warm welcome to your course. We will take you through exactly what happens next so that you feel connected and supported from the start.

Orientation Session:

Our Director of Studies uses this session to show you around the learning platform. It is also a great opportunity for you to ask all your questions and meet your fellow students. This is where you'll get your first taste of a breakout room experience which will be simple and guided so nothing needs to be prepared in advance.
