Regional Meet-up Groups

Regional Meet-up Groups - connection, support and community - wherever you are
Training as a Health Coach can be transformative, but it doesn’t have to be something you do alone.

The HCA Regional Meet-up Groups are student and graduate-led communities designed to help you feel connected and supported throughout your training and beyond. They bring together students at all stages (Pillar 1 - Pillar 4) and graduates, creating welcoming spaces where you can share experiences, learn from one another and build real relationships with people who get it.

Whether you’re just starting out, mid-training, or looking to stay connected after graduating, Regional Meet-up Groups offer a chance to meet others on a similar path.

What happens in a Regional Meet-up Group?
Each group is shaped by the people in it - but you can expect a mix of:
  • Informal online meet-ups and in-person gatherings

  • Peer support, shared learning and conversations with people on the same journey

  • Opportunities to share valuable content, spark ideas, explore topics and build confidence

  • A space for ongoing personal and professional development

  • A sense of belonging and continuity beyond your course content and graduation

Some groups meet for walks, lunches or to attend a wellbeing event, others meet online - some are able to do both! There’s no pressure to attend everything; you’re welcome to join in a way that works for you.

Who runs the groups?

Regional Meet-up Groups are led by HCA students and graduates who volunteer their time to help bring people together locally and online. HCA remains in the background, offering support where needed.

How to get involved
  • Head to the Student Resource Centre (on your Canvas learning platform). Within the section ‘Your Student Journey’ you will find the Regional Meet-up Groups page

  • Find your local or nearest group and use the contact details provided to connect with the Regional Lead and join the community.

  • Keep an eye out for upcoming meet-ups and events in student newsletters

  • Join whenever it feels right for you - you’re welcome at any stage of your training and beyond graduation.

Don’t see a group in your area?

If there isn’t currently a Regional Meet-up Group near you and you’d be interested in helping get one started, we’d love to hear from you.

New groups grow organically as our community expands. You don’t need to have all the answers or lots of experience - just a willingness to bring people together and support connection.

If you’d like to explore becoming a Regional Lead, or simply want to find out more about what’s involved, please get in touch at: amy@healthcoachesacademy.com

Many students tell us these groups become one of the most valuable parts of their HCA experience - offering connection, encouragement, collaboration and friendships that last well beyond training.

You never know where it might lead.
