A UKIHCA-Approved Health Coach is a qualified, credentialled professional who upholds the highest of Professional Standards in Health Coaching and who commits to adhering to a UKIHCA Scope of Practice, meeting our Continual Professional Development requirements and upholding our professional Code of Conduct.The Health Coaches Academy is the first UK college to go through their new, more stringent assessment criteria upgraded in 2021 giving you confidence that the training is delivered to the highest standards

The Association for Coaching® (AC) is a leading independent, professional body dedicated to promoting best practice and raising the awareness and standards of coaching, worldwide. They are one of the most established and respected Coaching Associations to join whose purpose is to inspire and champion coaching excellence, to advance the coaching profession and make a sustainable difference to individuals, organisations and society in the UK and worldwide.

The Health Coaches Academy’s Diploma Course will lead to a Level 5 Diploma in Health Coaching, the only Level 5 Health Coaching qualification available. As a UK awarding organisation regulated by the government body Ofqual, Qualifi endorses quality institutions, programmes and award certifications that demonstrate attainment, skills, knowledge and understanding.

Through Qualifi’s recognition, graduates of the Health Coaches Academy will earn a Level 5 Diploma in Health Coaching that will open pathways to employment and UK Degree courses and related post Graduate courses.  The Diploma will be registered on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) and recognised across the European Qualification Framework demonstrating a genuine qualification that is both transferable and credible.

Comensa (Coaches and Mentors of South Africa) is the SAQA recognised professional body for Coaching and Mentoring in South Africa who regulate the coaching and mentoring professions in South Africa.

The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. Providing financial support in each of a maximum of three separate financial years, the scheme enables higher level learning of a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above (or approved international equivalent) with an approved Learning Provider.

In September 2020, NHS England launched Personal Care Institute (PCI) to help staff involved in people’s health and care develop the knowledge and skills to support the implementation of the NHS Long Term Plan and the Comprehensive Model for Personalised Care.
  
The NHS Long Term Plan outlines the NHS’s aim to ensure that 2.5 million people are given personalised care by 2024. To bring this to life, the health and care workforce will be supported to gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide personalised care. The Institute has assessed HCA's Coaching Certificate via their rigorous quality assurance and accreditation framework, which means you can be assured our training meets the very highest standard.
